The local Indoor Football League team has advanced to the finals.

On Friday, the Quad Cities arena football team defeated the Frisco Fighters, 48 to 41, to win the Eastern Conference final.

The Steamwheelers will take on the Northern Arizona Wranglers who beat the Arizona Rattlers by one point on Saturday, 52 to 51.

The Indoor Football Championship game is set for August 13th at the Dollar Loan Center in Las Vegas.
